Year 6 on Residential: Rock UK, Northampton

Our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an exciting residential visit to the Rock UK Centre, where they took part in a wide range of adventurous activities, including abseiling, raft building, kayaking, mountain biking and zip lining. Although the weather was certainly mixed, it did nothing to dampen the children's enthusiasm or determination. There were plenty of muddy boots, soggy clothes and tired faces, but even more smiles, laughter and unforgettable experiences. The trip provided countless opportunities for the children to challenge themselves, build confidence and create lasting memories with their friends.

Staff were incredibly proud of the way the children embraced new experiences, supported one another and represented our school so positively throughout the week. Their resilience, teamwork and excellent behaviour were a credit to both them and their families.

Woodstock Enterprise Week and Summer BBQ: Friday 3 July

Excitement is already building as we prepare for our forthcoming Enterprise Week, where every class will become a team of young entrepreneurs!

Throughout the week, pupils will work together to design and develop their own business ideas, creating products and planning how to market and sell them. The children have already come up with some fantastic ideas and big plans are well underway. Enterprise Week provides a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and financial skills while having plenty of fun along the way.

The culmination of all their hard work will be at our Summer Fete and BBQ, where the products created by each class will be available to purchase. This is going to be a fantastic chance to celebrate the children's innovation and enterprise.

We warmly invite all members of our community to join us on Friday 3 July from 4.00pm to 6.30pm. As well as enjoying the Summer Fete and BBQ, visitors will have the opportunity to meet our pupils, staff and families and experience the warm and welcoming spirit of our school.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, neighbour, former pupil or friend of the school, we hope you will come along to support our young entrepreneurs and enjoy a wonderful afternoon together.
