Wake Up To Woodstock

Running a business in Woodstock brings a unique mix of opportunity and challenge. The town benefits from a strong identity, a thriving visitor economy and a loyal local community, yet many independent businesses still face the reality of balancing visibility, marketing and growth alongside the demands of day-to-day operations.
That is where being part of a local business network can make a difference.
Wake Up to Woodstock is a not-for-profit association run by local business owners, with a simple aim: to connect and support businesses across Woodstock and Bladon.
The main benefits of membership is collective visibility. Members can feature in the highly valued Blenheim Palace e-shot, helping businesses reach a wider audience, alongside coordinated social media, shared business news and a listing within the Wake Up to Woodstock online directory.
Connection is equally important. This month, businesses came together for the latest Wake Up to Woodstock Summer Mixer, hosted at Alex's Creperie, a vibrant food business and WUTW member, launched in 2025. It provided an opportunity for local business owners to meet, make new connections and strengthen existing relationships.
Open to both members and non-members, networking mixers create a welcoming environment where businesses can exchange experiences, generate referrals and explore collaborations. Several networking events take place throughout the year, culminating in the popular Christmas mixer event at Blenheim Palace, which rounds off the year festively!
Beyond networking, Wake Up to Woodstock works with partners including Experience Oxfordshire to help raise the profile of Woodstock and ensure local businesses are represented in wider conversations around tourism, events and economic development.
Membership is open to any business with an OX20 postcode, whether customer-facing or behind the scenes, long-established or newly launched. The association reflects the diversity of Woodstock's business community and provides a simple way for businesses to stay informed, connected and visible.
