Bladon Snippets from the Past

Village roads in Bladon - one road was known by several names and there was a great deal of aggravation as to which should be officially confirmed.

Grigg’s Hill led up to the Green which was then a hard, tarmac surface already used as a contested parking place. Following a threatening episode involving a spade the Parish Council decided to grass it over and rail it off. Some knew it as Lion Hill.
